Another trip in the forest

In late October
i went to the same forest with my dad
However, this time we went in the evening and it was really dark in the forest

Even though it was actually quite bright outside

This time i found many trees in this shape:

The quality of the pictures is very bad because they were taken in darkness

It's very slippery on that tree btw 

Bacteriophage model

We had an project that we have to make an model of a bacteria or virus
Since i was away on the day the project was assigned,
i got only one night to finish it
the material was limited and i figured i might do something that looks complicated but doesnt require many material
so i found this bacteriophage

First thing came to my mind was i can use iron wires to make the "legs"
and somehow i found the spring that i could use as the body
but it bent easily so i inserted a iron wire inside
after that i just cut paper to make the two "plates"
and used super glue to put everything together
the head troubled me for a long time
i tried paper balls but it didnt work very well
i tried to use mashroom doll but it fell
then i noticed this gacha ball
BINGO
the T2 bacteriophage is done

this project took me the whole night but i really loved it!

A trip in the forest

In late September, my friends and I went on a trip in UBC forest.
In the forest we saw many interesting things.
In the forest, we noticed there were almost as many dead plants as there were alive.

Also, the dead plants turned into new homes for fungi

And some fungi parasited on living plants

Plants, too, lived on dead plants

Also, another interesting thing was the "pose" of some plants

On the way, we found a dead tree that really looked like a throne
and i sat on it XD

The most interesting thing we found in that trip was a stump in the middle of the road with nothing around it
it's like a road sign

That was a fun trip but in a forest it gets dark very early
so we had to leave at around 4:00
